How to find the in-between
Each ribbon goes from the first melody to the last. Listen to a card with ▶; select its letter with Select, then click a numbered ribbon place. To return a fragment, click its filled place. Fixed cards stay put. You can also Tab between controls and press Enter or Space. Check gives exact placement feedback. Undo and hints are unlimited.
The little piano rolls show time left to right and pitch bottom to top. Some harder studies conceal fragment rolls: listen or use a hint. Sound begins only after you enable it; visual studies can also be played silently. Stop audio cancels the current phrase. Progress stays on this device.
This offline adaptation uses Sornting’s six study layouts and bundled melody seeds. Its cloud MusicVAE was replaced with deterministic note interpolation and local synthesis; this is not the original model’s output. Dense replaces the upstream “Melody 1” excerpt. No account or network service is needed.
